Festives recipes for your Christmas cocktail parties

Cherry Tomatoes Stuffed with Goat Cheese and Basil

These little bites are perfect for impressing your guests while keeping things simple. The red, green, and white colors instantly evoke the holiday spirit, and the flavor lives up to the festive vibe!

To make them, choose grape tomatoes (they stand better). Slice off the tops of each tomato, carefully scoop out the insides with a small spoon or knife, and cut a thin slice off the bottom so they sit flat on your serving platter.

Prepare the filling by mixing a log of plain goat cheese with a bit of heavy cream (35%), just enough to achieve a creamy texture. Add freshly chopped basil, a pinch of salt, and some cracked pepper, then whip everything together with an electric mixer. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner snipped off, and stuff each tomato. Place the “lid” of the tomato back on top and serve on a wooden board with a drizzle of olive oil.

These bites can be enjoyed cold or at room temperature. They’re fresh, festive, and always a hit!

Festive Mini Burgers

These adorable mini burgers are perfect for a cocktail party. They’re easy to prepare and can be customized to suit your taste.

Start by preparing the buns. If you don’t have mini buns, use a soft baguette and cut out small rounds with a cookie cutter. This will create perfect bases for your mini burgers.

For the patties, form small balls using ground beef, veal, or even lamb. Add festive ingredients like finely chopped dried cranberries or a hint of rosemary to the mix for a unique flavor. Cook the patties in the oven for a lighter option, and bake bacon slices at the same time for a crispy topping.

Assemble the burgers by layering a slice of cheese (aged cheddar or classic), your patty, and optional condiments like mayonnaise or ketchup. Secure everything with a toothpick or cocktail skewer, then arrange them on a board or a plate decorated with festive paper.

These mini burgers are cute, flavorful, and perfect for holiday entertaining.

Reinvented Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are a timeless classic, but with a few tweaks, you can transform them into an elegant and original appetizer.

Start by boiling your eggs (9 minutes for a fully set yolk), let them cool, peel them, and slice them in half. Scoop out the yolks and mix them with some mayonnaise, a touch of Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and, if you like, a pinch of cayenne for a bit of heat.

For the garnish, use a piping bag with a star tip to create a beautiful texture. Once the eggs are filled, top them with small crispy pancetta or bacon bits. You can also decorate with a sprig of fresh herbs like rosemary or basil.

Arrange them nicely on a plate or wooden board and let your guests enjoy. Simple, quick, and always a crowd-pleaser!
